Year 7 STEM Mosaic Challenge Launch

TThe Mosaics Challenge is a national programme to encourage children to think about their knowledge of Maths and Technology and how it can be applied to the world of business. Our Year 7 students will compete against other teams from across the UK, creating their own technology based company with the aim of making the most profit. Supported by business mentors from Enterprise Rent a Car, All Saints' Year 7s are ready to take up this challenge and gain a place in the UK final.

All Saints Catholic High School appoints a new Principal

The Governors of All Saints Catholic High School are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Tony McGuinness as the new Principal. He will take up his post on Monday 20th April.

 

Mr McGuinness is currently Deputy Headteacher at St John Bosco Art College in North Liverpool. He has been Deputy Headteacher at the College for six years. He has previously held leadership posts at St Francis Xavier’s College in Liverpool and Deyes High School, “This is a fantastic appointment for All Saints,” said Father Nick Wilde, Chair of Governors.

 

“Tony joins us at a pivotal time for our school’s improvement and we look forward to working closely with him over the coming years. At interview Tony impressed us with his ideas, vision, energy and enthusiasm. We believe he will make a strong and positive contribution to the school’s mission.”

 

Mr McGuinness will bring his strong Catholic dimension to All Saints, as well as his school improvement expertise from working in an Ofsted rated “Outstanding” school.

 

“I’m excited to be taking up my headship at All Saints,” said Tony. “I’m looking forward to working with all the staff and students to create a strong and improving, vibrant school community. My ambition for the school is for every student to fulfil his or her potential in a caring ethos, in ensuring the school continues to be an outstanding provider of education for the community we serve.”
