Career Academy

The All Saints Career Academy is a two year programme open to all Sixth Form students, who enrol on our Business & IT and STEM related courses. It is designed to help raise their aspirations, to allow them to make more informed choices about their futures and bridge the gap between education and work, by giving them access to real experience with world class businesses.

It provides a structured programme of paid internships, mentoring by employer volunteers, motivational lectures and workshops to give students, the work experience and skills they need to be able to perform more effectively in the wider world. This highly successful programme, is designed to compliment students’ studies.

For businesses, getting involved with The Career Academy is a cost-effective way of companies developing their own workforce and demonstrating their corporate values. By being a mentor (Partner in Business), offering an internship or ‘guru’ lecture or joining a Local Advisory Board, employers provide their staff with personal and professional development opportunities.

Jaguar Halewood

The Halewood plant was originally opened in 1963 to build the Ford Anglia. Ford also owned Jaguar Cars and production of the Jaguar X Type commenced at Halewood from 2001 onwards. In 2008, Ford finalised a deal to sell Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata Motors, part of the India based Tata Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles. The plant has gone from strength to strength and the new Range Rover Evoque, which is in high demand, has led to the plant working 24 hours a day.

Halifax is a banking chain in the UK and a division of Bank of Scotland which is a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group. It is the UK’s largest provider of residential mortgages and savings accounts. It is named after the town of Halifax, West Yorkshire where it was founded as a building society in 1853. In 2001 Halifax plc merged with the Bank of Scotland forming HBOS. In 2009 Bank of Scotland including Halifax became part of Lloyds Banking Group. Halifax, Liverpool, provides internships for our students on the Career Academy Programme.

The Walton Centre - NHS

The Walton Centre is unique - we are the only specialist hospital trust in the UK dedicated to providing comprehensive neurology, neurosurgery, spinal and pain management services.

Our specialist staff offer a world-class service in diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nerves and muscles, and in supporting patients suffering from a wide range of long-term neurological conditions.
